My heart feels very heavy as I write this. Marina Kunzi, who also supported me and our association, has left this world far too soon.

I got to know Marina in 2020 together with the Besahoschdle at the Kuhnle winery. Marina was a writer - she wrote Swabian crime novels, most of which were set in the Rems-Murr district. Back then, Marina, Daniel Kuhnle and Horst Zwipp launched a campaign in aid of Wir für Kinder e. V. All the proceeds from book and wine sales were donated to our association for children in need.

Marina helped me personally to get my first book onto the market. As an inexperienced new author, I was able to learn a lot from Marina and she never held back with her experience, advice or tips. She shared all her knowledge with me and made it possible for me to publish my book in the first place. We spent many an evening together over a glass of champagne, talking and laughing a lot. She had such a beautiful laugh that automatically made you laugh with her.

I will miss you, Marina. You had such a big heart and helped me and many other people whenever you could.
