I'm Nicole Schwab — most readers know me as Nicky Welsh.
My dad was Welsh and my mum is German; I grew up between Newport and Southern Germany before settling in the Remstal, near Stuttgart. Wales never really let go of me — it's part of why I write as Nicky Welsh, and why Tattoo Tales draws on legend, longing, and the language of ink.
